Glacier KOA

Glacier KOA

It was an uneventful drive from Jasper to the St Mary's KOA except for the border crossing. The border agent went through our trailer and confiscated an apple we had. He also threatened to take the firewood we have been hauling since Denali.

We had stayed at the KOA on previous trips. It was always a nice campground but they had just opened a new pool and hot tub. That was just the ticket as far a Sue was concerned. We did laundry then hit the pool and hot tub. Both sure felt good.

The KOA did have internet but their service provider was blocking all of Google. We have been using Google for mail on the trip. Oh well that is the way the cookie crumbles.

It was also a bit on the expensive side at $42/night with water and electric. We will move to St Mary Campground within Glacier National Park tomorrow.
