Lyn & Joanne's RV Adventure to Alaska travel blog

It was a sad morning for us. This place(Valdez) is so beautiful and enchanting, that it was hard to leave. We could have certainly had another day here, if not a lifetime. But depart we must, and head on back to Tok, AK for the last third of our Alaskan RV Adventure. Before we left I happened to spot some black rabbits in an industrial lot acroos the street from our camp sight. Don't know if they are wild or not, but will check later on. Suspect that they are domesticated "escapees".! We had about 260 miles of "backtracking" to do to get back to Tok. The scenery was pretty much the same as we had experienced previously, but we will go to a different campground in Tok. Along the way we had lunch in our camper at a nice spot along the way. We got some gas in Glenallen, and proceeded to Tok. We got to the campground about 2:00pm. Had a light social hour and a briefing to Beaver Creek, YT., and then we had a pizza dinner furnished by "Track" at "Fast Eddies", within walking distance of the campground. After the dinner we headed back to camp and watched some cable tv and off to bed.
