Our last stop on our way back to New York in July was at the Fort Bellefonte Campground in Bellefonte, PA. That was a really nice campground, very park like with lots of really lovely flower gardens. We spent only one night there before we continued our trip back to our home base at Bob’s sister Sue’s and her husband Scott’s summer retreat in Berkshire, NY. We spent six weeks there enjoying visits with lots of friends and family. Our weekends with Sue and Scott were really fun, lots of “wine time” on the deck and lots of fun conversations. Of course the summer went too quickly and we are back on the road again. This winter we are going back to Anchors Aweigh RV Resort in Foley, Alabama with a side trip to Orlando, Florida on the way.

Our first stop on our trip south is in Lickdale, Pennsylvania close to Lancaster and Hershey. We are spending two days at the Lickdale Campground here; it is another very nice campground with all the necessary comforts including wi-fi. I really missed having internet access while we were staying in Berkshire. As much as I hate to admit it, six weeks with only limited online time was kind of difficult for me. We did drive to Owego a few times a week to use the wi-fi at the library or McDonald’s so we were able to at least check our email and keep in touch with some of our friends. Most of the campgrounds we choose have either free or low cost wi-fi available; actually that’s one of my main requirements and cable TV is always nice too.
