|We have made it back to Brandenburg and it's good to be home. Going and coming this time was good it is a long drive around 940 to 967 miles depends on which route you take out of Memphis. This time we went north out of Memphis instead of toward Nashvile. It is around 22 miles shorter but it takes 60 miles of back roads to get home. We were hoping they had maybe put a new road in by now. It had been several years since we had traveled that way but there was no change it's not a good trailer route. Traffic seemed to be not as bad I'm wondering if traveling on Wed,Thur and Friday are better days to travel verse starting on Monday just a thought.
Normally we would have already gone in May to volunteer at Crossings Ministries in Bagdad KY. With George passing away it was a good thing that we hadn't went. We are hoping for Linda to get her other knee replaced this summer. I guess we are closing that chapter of life volunteering there.
Kathy's brother David did the video and music for George's Celebration of Life he really did a good job. Kathy's friend Malinda did a good job with the food. There was a big crowd of friends and family with lots of George stories.
