We’ve been here before to visit the “Little Bighorn Battlefield NM” and "Pompey's Pillar NM", a Lewis and Clark stop over. We wanted to revisit the Bighorn County Museum. This is a must on a stop anywhere near Hardin. It has 17 well preserved historic buildings of the past. It is also the Tom Campbell, Jr. farming area. He was known around the world as the Henry Ford of Agriculture. He leased land from the Crow Indians and became the largest wheat producer in the world. His farm holds the record for the most wheat harvested in one 24 hour period. The farm was active from the 1920's into the 1960's.
