After spending the last couple of weeks or so camping in State Parks around the Decatur area, my motor home is in the Fleetwood service center there to be looked at and repaired. I'll let you know what was wrong after it is fixed, since part of the deal is inspecting the under carriage and making sure it is safe and trustworthy.
While that is being done, I am staying at my sister's house in Versailles. Dolores and Allan had already planned on vacation that week with Allan's brother and wife up at the Chain O'Lakes State Park, a little further north of where I was! Well, that worked out perfectly because I have a place to stay without getting in their way and they don't have to put Sugar in a kennel at the vet's office! Sugar and I get along just fine. Dolores has birds and fish and I will care for them, too. At least she doesn't have any of her past exotic pets - that would be stretching it for me!
I plan on visiting with my niece and her two boys who will soon be 8 years old and starting 2nd grade already! I may mow the lawn here but I won't go near the edges of the property and take a chance of finding out if she still has poison ivy around! There are plenty of letterboxes within a day's drive from here and I have one that I planted to check on. I have a book to finish and give back to my sister, and a long stitch picture to do also.
