USA Tour ,and on, with Steve, Shirley, and Frances 2008 travel blog

We arrived home after dark and more or less put the dogs in the orchard and fell into bed. The next morning we were up bright and early for a day at the dentist in Chico. If anyone is looking for an absolutely wonderful dentist we can recommend one to you!

We winterized the kitchen, put tarps over the 16' X 20' military surplus tent, secured the wood stove chimney to the barn roof, did a bunch of watering and got ready for Shabbat! It was soooo good to spend Shabbat with our fellowship. Hugs and kisses and blessings abounded! Steve and I left Sat evening for the Napa Valley and spent the evening and Sunday loving on our kids and grandkids. Isabelle has grown and changed so much. She is sitting up and eating solid food and "talking" and laughing and so very adorable. Dylan is as precocious as ever! We had brought him a motorized monster tractor that shakes and roars and rolls on its own power and he was quite taken with it, spent the evening running it around the floor crashing into everything. I played him a game of checkers between tractor crashes - which he won - and then it was bedtime. Two story books later, hugs and kisses and he was off to bed. He's so much like his dad - it's like watching his dad - our son- grow up all over again! Little Emilie - every time I see her I am struck with just how beautiful a child she is and how much she is learning to hold her own against her brother!

We finally got it all together about 4:00p.m. Monday and left for Nevada. Robert and Kandy from our fellowship came over to help us put all the last minute details together so we could get back on the road. Their help was much appreciated! It was hard to leave again. The dogs are still with us, turning into good travelers they are!! They were glad to get home as we were, but when Cricket saw us packing to leave again he was the first to jump in the car - one not to be left behind!
