We landed in Reno. It'll be a short stop, about 12 days, for us to get to all our doctor visits and see kids, grandkids, friends. We thank our leasee, Christa, for allowing us the freedom to come and go as we please when we're in town. We try not to disturb her much and, of course, we try not to stay too long. She's gracious enough to mention we can stay as long as we want, "After all, it's your house.", we answer "yes, but...". We park here for convenience while we do the little things on the property that need tending to. Things like weeding, trimming bushes and trees, winter/spring preparation, changing oils in the vehicles. All that takes a few days, then we move out to a park downtown for the remainder of the time.
The Sierra Mountains are having an early winter, already two snow storms have come through and dumped several inches above 5500 ft! That's about 1 month early.
