This morning I called my ophthalmologist to see whether I could see him today because, for the last several days, my left eye has been burning and watering from more than my usual allergy symptoms. Happily, he had an afternoon opening and Karen was able to take me. I was not happy to hear the diagnosis. The virus has reared its ugly head again. I’ll have to increase my dosage of Acyclovir to five times per day, as well as use Zirgan ophthalmic gel. My follow-up visit is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
From the doctor’s office we went to Pflugerville to the facility where Karen’s parents are staying. She needed to do a couple of tasks for them.
