Looking north in Manji

Blessed are those who have big wheels

The huge site

Arrived in Manjimup after a very pleasant drive from Rosa Glen. There was 11 km of gravel road but it was better than some of the sealed road we encountered later on. Manji as it’s known to the locals is a larger town of around 5000 and is located at the northern end of the “Tall Timber Forests”. Apparently as far as trees go we have seen nothing yet….

This is a lovely park, on the South Western Hwy but below it and not noisy at all, huge sites and immaculately presented generally, if Swan Valley was 3.5 stars this place must be at least 10.

Tomorrow we are off to experience some “Real Forests” in the Pemberton area, hopefully traveling by tramway through the forest.
