campsite at Chain O'Lakes was muddy but better than lots of other...

On the road again! I first drove the 3.5 hours from Versailles to Decatur to get my home. The slide-out was removed, the opening was squared up, new seals were installed, and the slide put back in place. A technician spent over 4 hours inspecting the undersides, and even jacking it up at different places to verify the strength of the chassis. I have a good structural base and nothing to worry about. So, it cost $4000 to give me piece of mind and a level slide-out again. The dashboard shakes but it's okay.

By the time I got into my site, set up and unpacked, it started raining and we are supposed to have thunder storms all night and most of tomorrow. Northern Indiana has been getting a lot of rain and some of the campsites are under water! I was told I chose one of the best sites in the park so I did a good job with my online reservations - site unseen!
