Happy Memorial Day!

Jerry and I have been really busy with all the Memorial Day activities in Craig. This town really knows how to celebrate. We enjoyed a huge Memorial Day Festival this afternoon. Yesterday we attended the parade and the carnival. It has been a fun and busy three day weekend. The Festival had everything from dunking water tanks with the mayor of Craig getting soaked to chocolate covered berries, cotton candy and chili tasting for a buck. :-)

We didn’t try the chili because we already cooked beef ribs, potatoes, corn on the cob and more for our dinner in our crock pot last night. It was so easy to do and the meat was so tender it fell off the bones. We had a great time and hope all our readers did too. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from our last week in Craig, Colorado.
