Monica and Nick's World Adventure travel blog

After an ok night bus we arrived at the border and it took a while for the Venezuelans to check our bags. We then drove for another 5 minutes before getting our passports stamped. At the bus station we met a guide from Adrenalin Explorers. He told us that the Angel falls three day trip was running at the moment and this was because it had been raining alot for the last four days. Usually it does not go at this time of the year. Because of this we had to book another night bus to Ciudad Bolivar.

We had a few hours to kill and so we went into town and had some pasta at Venezuela Primero. It was really good food. We then walked back to the bus station and played cards while waiting.

Our first bus in Venezuela left something to be desired. It was nice bus, but the seat space was tiny (even Monica couldnt sit properly when the seat infront was right back) but broke down at about midnight ! An hour later we changed to a normal bus (again no leg room) and this one made it to our destination !!!
