Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

A beautiful day for our drive...

I never tire of this canyon...

Like many places in the country it is very green from all...

Larry likes the shadows playing on the hills...

View off to our right...

It's just plain neat today...

This area is called Sunnyside or Wayne Kirsh Reservoir, the guys love...

Entering the town of Lund...

One of these days we're going to stop at the Old Milk...

Two days after we arrived we woke up to this!

Fortunately, it melted off fairly quickly...brrrr, it was cold!

A short update today. Larry is gimping around on his crutches better as time goes on. He isn't able to be much help as we attempt to sort through the entire rig. We've put off going through drawers, cupboards & the basement for the past 4 months intending to do a thorough job 'when we get to Ely'. I think he broke his foot to avoid all of this work, lol!

Anyway, the inside is mostly done and the basement is done. I've totally thrashed Mom's garage so will tackle it tomorrow. And I still need to sort & pack our clothing seasonally. Wish we could tow a large closet behind us, it sure would make life easier!

We had a bit of maintenance done on the truck this week & tomorrow we need to visit the DMV for our new tags. We've also ordered our boat tags for the season. I've had no Internet service as the dish just wouldn't lock on to the signal. After several hours on the phone with Motosat today we finally diagnosed a faulty router, as well as needing updates & dish calibration. We're back online with both TV & Internet this evening & glad that issue is taken care of before we hit the road in a couple of days.

All 3 of our granddaughters had a birthday this past week. Maya was one year old today, Jasmine turned 3 on Monday and Lily was 5 years old on Sunday! Happy Birthday girls!! We love & miss you all, wish we could have been there for each & every party. We're waiting for pics please!

Well, that's it for now. We appreciate you stopping by to see if we've posted a new update. Sorry about all the down time. The skies were so pretty when we drove up days ago so will share of those pics with you. Enjoy...
