Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day. I did, my honey splurged and bought crab for dinner which we enjoyed very much. I spoke to Mom and she seemed to be enjoying her weekend at Stateline with sister Lori, niece Tiffany & her daughter Taylor. Sister Joyce drove in from Mesquite to visit for a couple of hours as well. A nice girls weekend 'retreat' for all of them.

I seem to be running several days behind in posting on our activities so will try to catch you all up a bit. We are now in Casa Grande, Az and have been here since Friday afternoon. We are staying at the Sundance 1 Rv Park. This is the park we stay at every time we're in the area. Very nice, quiet and affordable. There is a nice laundromat here and a lovely indoor/outdoor pool & Jacuzzi. We like it! We'll be here until the end of the week.

As you know, grandson Levi was born 3 weeks early last week. So, we decided to make an overnight trip back to Vegas to meet our new grandson and take care of a couple of other things. Fortunately we were not all the way across country so it was just a few hours of driving. We dropped Onyx off at Bonnie & Larry's as it was too hot to leave her in the truck while at the hospital. We left the 5'er in our spot on Lake Pleasant, comfortable that things would be just fine for a day. And they were.

We visited for a couple of hours that evening and then returned to the hospital the following morning for a couple of more. Bonnie went with us as she wanted to hold the baby. I don't know if I mentioned it or not but she spent the whole night at the hospital with Larry & Tawnia in the birthing room. In fact, she was there for the birth, cheering Tawnia on. We were so grateful for that. Levi was born at 11:22am and Bonnie was being considered as a potential juror and required to be at the courthouse by 12pm. Staying for the entire birth caused her to arrive late and she might have been held in contempt of court. Thank goodness she wasn't, lol! She never got to hold the baby because of the time, so she was anxious to come back. Anyway, thanks so much for being there sis. We love you!

We headed back to Arizona about 1pm. We'd made a decision to stop at Hoover Dam & at Willow Beach on our return trip to check out the new bridge & possible camping on the river at a later time. We learned a few things at both stops, but this post is long enough. So please stop back soon & I'll give you the skinny on them, ok? Thanks, have a great day....
