Where in the world are Corky and Johanna? BWCAW Where in the world is that? The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Ely, the end of the road. 100 miles of lakes and woods on northern Minnesota's border make up the Superior National Forest. Ely seems quite appealing with its collection of shops and restaurants. How about let's try the Chocolate Moose? How did we manage to get here? During the decision making process, the choices were Mall of America in SE Mn vs a "wilder" section, the Boundary Waters. Yes, I declined the largest mall in America as I do not like shopping. That seemed like mass confusion to me. I prefer to shop at the small but eclectic places. Just call me weird!! Now ,if anyone would like to donate one or two thousand dollars, I'll go to the mall. I'm not the kind of shopper that spots a "deal"; more than likely the item will be the highest priced ticket! Note: On the morning we were leaving Fort Sisseton, SD, Rose brought us the newspaper. We had seen the article on line, therefore we didn't open the paper right away. Last PM, we SEE ourselves in the newspaper. Our families will surely get a kick out of that. Rose, Alecia, Betty, Calvin H., long time BIG farmer/former state legislator, the Webster family reunion behind us, and the folks kind enough to e-mail us with comments we thank you for your hospitality! Us full timers travel on days of the week less congested; therefore, we'll be leaving here on Monday. Look for pictures and more tales of adventure.
