ADVENTURES IN OUR AMERICAN DREAM travel blog

We drove through a lot of Wyoming on our way today...

Definitely cowboy country...:-)

Cheyenne in the distance, we turned right and missed driving downtown...

A most unusual home near Cheyenne, Wyoming..

This horse and rider were fake, but looked real at first...:-)

This one was cool too...:-)

I don't know who this is but he was HUGE..

This is a quick update to let everyone know we have safely arrived in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We drove about 150 miles, most of it through Wyoming. We passed right by Cheyenne and then on through Pine Bluffs, Wyoming before crossing the state line into Nebraska.

We saw a lot of unusual things today, right at the state line was a huge white figure, not sure who it was suppose to be. I was wishing we could stop and see, but not in the RV pulling the car. There was no place to park and we were already going pretty fast, maybe next time I can find out more. We also saw a home that was made to look like a teepee and more unusual items. Wyoming also has speed limits of 80 miles an hour, we stayed right at the safe speed of 60 we are used to and let everyone pass by us. :-)

We had a very easy drive today, thank goodness for a good travel day after the nightmare one last time. We are all set up and ready to start exploring the area. There is a lot to see in the area, the Scottsbluff National Monument is right down the road from us, we can’t wait. Check back later for more from Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
