Day 42: Teslin (again)
This was one of 3 one-night stands we're making on the way to Stewart/Hyder. The trip out of Skagway over the pass was beautiful - it was much clearer, which afforded views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, and drop-off at the road's edge! We stopped at a wildlife museum not far from the Carcross Desert (the world's smallest desert). The taxidermy done on the animals that were displayed was outstanding - very realistic expressions and poses. The museum also had a working dog team, and visitors were able to cuddle some puppies that were only a few weeks old.
