Stan & Phyllis arrived Thursday evening about 5pm armed with tons of food, drink and decorations for the weekend. We grilled burgers and visited that evening. Friday morning they got up early & went into full gear preparing for Bonnie's birthday party later that day. It was a Mexican fiesta complete with bean tostados, chicken tacos and carne asada. And the best guacamole you've ever tasted in your life! They also brought 'homemade tortillas' from a local favorite in Phoenix, still warm in fact. It was awesome! I ate so much I'll be walking an extra mile or two for the next few days!

Stan brought two I-pods along, chock full of great music. He also has a Bose docking station which makes for great sound. The younger adults were messing around with a couple of balls, mostly hitting them with their heads! The older adults were way too smart to take place in that silly game!!! Miss Jasmine was right in the middle of it all though and she showed no fear. We were worried she might get crushed, but she held her own. She's one tough little cookie.

The next day was Ashley's baby shower. I have never seen such unique, neat decorations. She had a BIG group of ladies. Which of course made for lots of nice baby gifts. There was plenty of food, games and conversation happening and it lasted almost 4 hours. After a late night last night and a long afternoon I was ready to be home with my feet up. Which I did until dinner time. Stan & Larry grilled pork chops, corn on the cob and brussel sprouts. Once again, a terrific meal. I'm glad they don't live here, I'd weigh a ton!

Sunday morning we attended church and Stan & Phyllis headed for home. We're heading to Arizona two weeks from today, so we'll be seeing them at the end of the month. Bonnie & Larry went to Ashley's 4-D showing of Madison that morning as well. They said she is a cute little girl. We haven't seen her pictures yet, but she'll be here the end of May. She's due just a couple of days before Tawnia is.

So that's it for now. Another busy week. Amazing how time flies by when you're having fun....

Note: I'll post a few baby shower pics tomorrow...goodnight
