Glenda's Adventures with Daisy 2006-07 travel blog

This morning I said good-bye to my new Lazy Dazer friends and left Tyler State Park around 10:30. Daisy's breakfast cost me $1.98 per gallon, which seems 'cheap' by recent price standards. I stopped a couple of times along the way -- once at a rest stop with free WiFi. I took advantage of that opportunity to update my trip journal. Never know how long it will be before I have access to the Internet again.

My home for tonight is at Franklin. Tomorrow, it's on to Austin.

Since I had the time tonight, I decided to figure out how much I've spent on this trip from June 21 to October 22 (124 days) - excluding groceries and other items that I would have bought anyway. In case you're interested, here's the summary:

2,999.61 Fuel (Do you hear my budget howling in pain?)

1,513.14 Camping

308.37 Tours, Entry Fees, etc.

365.11 Local Specialty Foods

125.00 Miscellaneous

Average Expenditures per Day: $42.83

Miles Driven: Total 9,866 Average/Day 80
