Woke up this morning to 50 degrees. It felt so good especially since it was over 100 yesterday. I caught Janice trying to climb out the window of the motorhome before we left. Went to bed with the sun and got up with it. Driving along the 24, at our petroglyph stop, at the eastern edge of Capitol Reef, a bus load of European tourists decided that our motorhome was a great photo op. Janice and I were in the front seat busting a gut watching them use us as a tourist attraction. Guess they never saw such a big motorhome or it might have been the girls inside the motorhome….As we left Capitol Reef on our way to Canyon Lands-Islands in the Sky NP, we never saw a more desolate landscape. Quite a contrast to yesterday!

Canyon Lands reminded us of the Grand Canyon and it was really really hot. Our thermometer hit 107. Next door at Arches, at 6 o’clock it was still over 100 degrees.

We thought that Arches was a letdown after seeing Bryce Canyon.

Got a campsite near Moab for the night.
