Today my church lunch bunch had a wonderful meal at the home of Morris and Kima Ramsey. As usual, they were superb hosts. Kima is a wonderful cook. They had two large round tables set up for us – one in the living room. One table was set with green depression glass dishes and the other one with cute shirt-shaped plates. I commented to Kima that she must have a lot of dishes and she confessed that she has 60 sets. That’s right. Sixty sets!
I especially admire Morris and Kima for their generosity but also because they continued with their Father’s Day plans in spite of the fact that Kima’s mother had passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer.
