Flooding in OhioAug 20, 2007

Still at the rest stop in Ohio. It's raining harder now. It's supposed to flood. Yesterday was a hard day for Soleil. She didn't like having her day mapped out for her... time for reading, journal time, time for homework, free time, etc. When I said it was journaling time, she just lost it and had a meltdown. Unbeknownst to me, Aisha had made sort of a schedule for herself for the days that we were hunkered down and stuck in the camper and she showed it to us. We actually used that to then have a discussion about schedules and when we would have time to do what... reading, chores, journaling, exercise, school, free time, etc.
That discussion has made the morning... this rainy morning... a lot quieter and nicer. I actually have time to sit and write this because of that. We're going to add craft time to the list as we realized it had been an omission.
