This month I could spend only two days at the Cen-Tex campout because I had an appointment for a wellness visit with my primary physician at 11:00 this morning. On the way home from that I got a hamburger and then finished my pre-trip chores. It was about 1:00 when I pulled out of Pecan Grove.
The drive to Fredericksburg was uneventful and I finished getting set up in my site with only a few minutes to spare before our business meeting began. We had dinner tonight at K-Bob’s, where the service was excellent.
After dinner several members went to a dance at Luckenbach. The rest of us played table games of various sorts.
This morning Ruth Stehling cooked breakfast for us. She served two types of breakfast pizzas, cinnamon apple muffins, grapes, cheese sticks and juice. I’m certainly glad she likes to cook. Whatever she makes is always good.
About mid-morning a “cold” front blew in but it didn’t rain. The wind was quite strong for a short time but it soon quieted down.
