Sugar is spoiled

It's been a couple of years since I saw my sister Lori and her husband, Al, and her pets! I had a chance to see Lori's daughter, Angela and her family (husband Lance, sons Draven & Kanan) for a couple of minutes on Saturday. Draven was supposed to play baseball at a nearby town called Milan, but the team wasn't notified of a change where they will play 3 hours later in the day! It was a cold, cloudy, day with a great chance of rain so they didn't stay and neither did we. I hope to be able to visit my grand niece and great nephews during their summer school break.

Saturday night we went to Clifty Falls State Park's Inn to have their buffet dinner at a reasonable price. I was going to meet Lori's new friend, Dot and her husband, but the husband didn't feel well because of allergies, so they didn't go. It wasn't raining after dinner so we walked a bit down by the river in Madison.

It was cloudy, cold, and rainy again on Sunday, so Lori and I went back to Madison to window shop the main street in Madison and hope to see the gardens the locals planted to get inspiration for her garden by her koi pool this year. While it rained a bit in the morning, it didn't rain at all after we had soup and 1/2 sandwich in a nice little restaurant on the main street.

It was cloudy, cold, and rainy again on Monday, so Lori and I went to Walmart and a farm store to get supplies and some cheap clothes. We then went to a rails-to-trails path in Lawrenceburg and walked the beginning of that. We passed a sign painted on the path saying we were .5 miles in so we know we walked over a mile. See, it started raining soon after we passed that sign and we had to turn back. the umbrellas were in the car!
