Bridge to Benbow Inn

Benbow Inn

Late to get up. We decided to take day off from travel. Ron considered golfing but opted for reading. I visited inn and grounds. The inn was built in 1926 and is filled with pictures of the original owners and what the place looked like in its heydays. There was a large lake that was part of the draw and the stone bridge that lead over the water to the inn is still there. There were bridle trails and stables also. Stayed at pool and hot tub until late afternoon. KOA had move and popcorn for the kids. It was nice to get back to showers not requiring tokens or quarters for 1 or 3 minutes of water!
