The Great Lakes State2 September - I departed Onalaska at 10:30 and set my sights on gettin’ to the Holtwood Municipal Park in Oconto nearly 250 miles away. Since I'm paying-for-staying, I wanted to get there as early as possible to enjoy my visit. I arrived there about 3 and went for a nice 8 mile walk through this historical little town. Later I did a couple of loads of laundry and watched a little TV. It was a good day.

My destination is now only 237 miles away and I have 2 days to get there so I’m in pretty good shape.
