ADVENTURES IN OUR AMERICAN DREAM travel blog

We enjoyed driving through all the towns both in Wisconsin and Michigan..

A cool mural ...

A cool antique store on the drive...

Another cool mural...

We saw a lot of turkeys today...

We are all set up for one night in a pull through.

Last one, our site in Iron Mountain, Michigan...

We had a fairly easy drive today, it was about 235 miles. We drove Highway 2 that took us through parts of Wisconsin and then Michigan with views of Lake Superior on and off most of the day.

We will only be here for one night and back on the road again in the morning. We got a pretty early start this morning and then got stopped at the Aerial Lift Bridge. A huge ship was going through and it took about 30 minutes for it to clear for us to cross. This was fun to watch in the car while we were having fun in Duluth, but not much fun while waiting in the RV. :-) That was the only hold up all day, the rest of the day was a great travel day.

We will be driving to Door County in Wisconsin tomorrow, we will be spending a week there exploring as many lighthouses as we can see. Check back later for more from Wisconsin.
