Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Looks like they've had a bit of snow while we were gone...

And we're hitting a bit of the white stuff ourselves...

It's almost eerily beautiful...

The sun is trying to come out for a bit here...

I just like this shot...taken at 45 miles an hour or more!

Arriving at the outskirts of Ely, hey, I see a patch of...

But it didn't last long!

Icicle's on the patio, pretty....

Mom, Larry & I arrived back in Ely Sunday afternoon about 2:30pm. We hit a bit of a light snow about half way home but it didn't last long. There was significant snowfall from the night before and it made for a really pretty ride home. Dang it was cold!

Marion arrived right as we pulled up and Larry was very glad to see him as there was quite a bit of shoveling to do to even get the car into the garage. Needless to say the sidewalk and walkways all needed clearing as did the fence and walkway to our 5'er. There was enough snow on our satellite dish that we had no Internet service but we did have our Direct TV signal. It finally warmed up about noon today and as the snow melted off the dish, our Internet service returned. It sure sounded interesting inside our home as large chunks of snow and icicle's slipped & slid, finally biting the dust. Sure would love to see some sunshine for the next week or two!
