So handsome...

It's hard to fathom that my Dad ever looked like this!

I love you Dad, forever....

A short thank you to all who attended Dad's Memorial Service today. We appreciated all of you who traveled so many miles to celebrate Dad's life and memories with us. Dad was such a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by many.

I want to thank our daughter Tawnia for putting a wonderful memorial DVD with both pictures and music together to share at the service. What a wonderful way to relive some of the most important times in Dad's 80 years of living. The video included pics of his wedding to Mom over 61 years ago, as well as photos from their 25th, 40th, 50th & 60th anniversaries! There were also special moments taken with his four daughters, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many other family members.

Dad's 90 year old sister Alma, from California, was able to attend today, as well as numerous niece's and nephews.

His brother Will, also from California, was released from the hospital on Friday and due to health issues was not able to attend but was sorely missed. If you are reading this, your DVD package will be mailed in the next few days and I hope you enjoy watching all of the special memories as much as we did.

A big thanks to all for your wonderful cards, letters & prayers. Mom has especially appreciated all of your love and support.

I'll touch base again as we make our way back to Ely for about 10 days before heading south again with our rig for the next few months. There's a ton of snow expected next week so it's time to run for the sun!
