Most of the day was spent delivering and posting flyers about the summer Family Fishing Day and Youth Conservation Corps. We posted flyers in both towns of Anahuac and Winnie, and arrived home around 2. Lunch was at the Denny’s in Winnie.

After reading in the sunshine, I prepared the salmon dip and cream cheese w/Pick-a-pepper sauce for the surprise wedding reception for Jim and Karen. They were surprised and pleased. We all gathered in the community room and everyone brought snacks and then sat and talked for a few hours, telling stories. We planned our trip to Voyageur when we got back home.
