It was a pleasant 98 miles to Madera from Three Rivers, CA. We did have to feed the Mothership on the way at 3.999/gal. We needed 75 gallons this time for the 538 miles since the last fill-up in Arizona 12 days ago. Curiously the diesel in CA is usually very close to the price of unleaded regular gasoline? The trip was mostly along busy throughways so there are not many pictures of the trip.
We are staying at the Country Living Mobile Home and RV Park which has a separate section of the property for RVs instead of mixing them in amongst the mobile homes like many of the combinations do here. We have a full hookup, 50 amp, drive through which is long enough for us to leave Libby attached since we are not going anywhere while here. The RV park is bare bones but does have good WiFi and will work for us fine. Verizon is good and the satellite was an easy acquisition.
Tomorrow we head back into the Sierra Nevada's to Groveland, CA just outside Yosemite National Park. We will be staying there for a week and we know there will be no Verizon service at the campground but we are supposed to have WiFi.
