Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

A rainbow through the windshield this morning...

The sun, playing on the mountains...

This is called Sunnyside, the guys duck hunt on these bodies of...

It sprinkled on & off but it was a pretty drive...

Like the streaming sunlight, far right here...

Wow, it got a bit dark again!

And light again!

Isn't this pretty?

Last shot for today, goodnight...

Wow, I am so far behind on my posts I don't know if I'll ever catch up! We've made three trips to Vegas dealing with my health. In fact we are here as I write this, heading home in the morning. I had a barium esophagram done last week and a Endoscopy/Colonoscopy this morning. Diagnosis-Diverticulosis, colitis, gastritis and reflux esophagitis. They also dilated the esophagus for easier swallowing. We'll know more after the labs come back. I just hope to be able to eat again (normally) soon. My prescription meds still don't do the trick, gum seems to help more than anything. I now weigh less than I did when I was 12 years old! My honey says I am too skinny but I think I am just right. We are very thankful that it wasn't anything serious. Many of our family and friends are suffering with severe health challenges at this time. We want you to know that we pray for each of you daily. You are in our thoughts and our hearts.

It's been cold in Ely, so the 70 degree temps here in Vegas have been welcome the past 2 days. Mom says it snowed yesterday but I think it's melted off now. Hopefully the really bad snow storms will hold off until December.I know it's supposed to go down to 19 degrees there tonight! Glad our water hose is disconnected. Thanks Marion...

We had a lovely drive down here last week & I really liked a few of the pics we took along the way, so am sharing them today. Hope you like...
