This morning I finished my registration process at the park office and met several of the employees. I had a pleasant surprise: My paperwork stated that my monthly rent would be $645 plus electricity. I mentioned that I had been quoted a rate of $620 plus electricity. The assistant manager, Brye McBee, changed the amount with no quibbling! He also told me about their other procedures. He put me on the list for propane delivery tomorrow. The truck comes every Tuesday.
While I was the office, I was very surprised to see my Fredericksburg neighbor lady. She said that they will be in Austin for four days.
After Silver Sneakers class, I had a bone density scan at the ARA location next door to the gym. At my last scan two years ago, the results showed that I had moved up from osteoporosis into osteopenia. I hope this one will show even more improvement in my bones – maybe out of osteopenia into a normal range.
After the scan, I went to Pearle Vision to get my new lenses put into my current eyeglass frames. While they were doing that, I went next door to the FireBowl Café for lunch. I love my fortune, “The one good thing about repeating your mistakes is that you know when to cringe.” This seems to be more and more true for me lately!
