Liberty Bell replica

Today we made it into Nashville, Tennessee for our 30th proclamation. 30 in 40 days. It sounds like we should have more by now, but it has been a real steady pace to get this many done. One note about the liberty bell replica in the picture: There were 53 of these cast in 1950 and presented to each state and territory to help bring attention to the savings bond campaign. We have noticed these replicas at almost all of the state capitols and thought we would throw in this little bit of trivia.

We met with Kathy Collier who lives in the Knoxville area. She had to work so couldn't join the proclamation, but she wanted to meet with us and offer her support along with her husband Dan and their fellowship group. Interestingly, she told us that Yedidah (I included one of her articles in the last note) had stayed with them not long ago, and she vouched for her character and personality. Everyone we know that has met Yedidah, has similar warm endorcements to offer on her behalf.

We have gone on down the road a bit and are dry camping it in another Wal-Mart in Jackson, Tennessee. Had a great dinner of down-home good ol' southern cooking with fried okra and collard greens--Yum! We're hopefully/prayerfully on the road to Little Rock, Arkansas tomorrow and then on to find a campground to spend Shabbat in later in the afternoon. Shalom for now.
