We had another travel day, about 200 miles this time. We are all set up and ready to stay a week in one place again. Our drive took us along Lake Michigan with glimpses of the lake through the trees. We did have one long stretch where we had incredible views for a few miles without blockage. We even got a few pictures of lighthouses along the way. I have ordered my lighthouse book and can’t wait to receive it, I need the help identifying them. :-)

When we arrived near Mackinaw City, we saw warning signs about crossing the huge Mackinac Bridge. They limited the speed for RV’s to only 20 miles per hour because of the strong winds. Yikes! I was about to change my plans and wait to cross the bridge tomorrow. Jerry was ready to cross it and did not want to wait, we made it over just fine. :-)

We have awesome views of the bridge and the lake from our campsite. It looks like a fun place to explore, let the fun begin. Check back later for more from Michigan.
