Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

We've arrived...

This is a pretty cool place...

Looking down into one of the tanks...

Note the golden trout in upper right corner...

Splitting & thinning info...

We learned that trout are not native to Missouri...

All sizes in this tank...

That bottom lip can only belong to a male, right girls???

A golden in the aquarium...

A bit of info...

And a closer look, cool fish, wish I could hook one!

Bait fishing rigs...

American Beauty Berries...

A closer look, these berries attract butterflies...

Our next stop was to visit the Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery. Normally I'm not all that interested in hatcheries but I enjoyed this one. There were multiple holding tanks with various size fish cruising about waiting for tourists to feed them. So of course we obliged. It was a feeding frenzy and I really enjoyed it. We took a picture of how to set up a rig for you guys, if you can figure it out. Afterward we walked over to the dam & down by the river. I'll post pics taken there in the next post. Trying to keep these short until you catch up with us in Nevada. Thanks for stopping by...
