Carpe Diem has some elbow room
RoVer's Roost isn't very full yet.

Sandi "shot" the moon with her new 500mm lens

A closer view of the moon

Moon's craters are clearly visible

Fri, 03 Nov: Back home...

We arose early and were packed and out of the room by 0645 Albuquerque time. We left the hotel and drove south on Coor's Blvd to Taco Cabaña for breakfast. From there it was a short distance to I 40 west and home.

We made good time and crossed into Arizona by 0930 MST, and stopped in Show Low for lunch. We arrived back at our coach about half past three and found all in good order.

It was a wonderful trip but we were very happy to be home. Even tho we took our own pillows with us being in our own Select Comfort bed can't be beat. Guess that's why we try to take it with us...

The full moon was really spectacular in the desert and Sandi decided to try out her new 500mm lens. The results are in the pix section.

Not too much on our plate for this week. Just a visit to the travel clinic at Mayo Thursday to see what shots we'll need for our world cruise. Besides that we'll stick close to home.

More anon...
