We pushed it nearly 300 miles to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We met George and Nancy there and we lucked out and found a campsite right next to them and it was nearly the last site available. It was pretty hot, and we had no hookups so we had to use our generators. We found that unless the batteries were full we could not run the air conditioning (the system wanted to devote all the juice to recharging and would not allow us to turn on the air conditioning). We drove around the park and we saw wild horses, bison (buffalo), and prairie dogs. We got to take a guide tour of the cabin that Teddy Roosevelt lived in on the ranch he founded. It was good learning more history about TR.
