Snake River Canyon, viewed from Decision Point

Volcanic activity helped form today's canyon

You can see where the Snake River used to be. We did...

Swan Falls Dam and Reservoir

We got to Boise-Meridian RV Resort on Wednesday. Steve installed the washer-dryer on Thursday, and we've been doing homey things ever since. Washing blankets, installing shelves.... Yesterday, we visited the World Center for Birds of Prey, and saw some neat hawks and falcons. Afterward we went to a nature preserve in downtown Boise, and we really like the way it's set up, with a main highway (no Traffic lights) that goes straight from I-84 to downtown. What we saw was nice, clean, and uncrowded. Today, we went to the Snake River Canyon and the Swan Falls Dam. The weather is fabulous, few puffy clouds on the horizon, 48 degrees at night, cool mornings, 81 degrees in the afternoon. We're back in the Mountain time zone, too. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
