Spanish Moss hanging from the trees all over Florida

After another trip to the mechanic, we're on the road again to Tallahassee, Florida. Our alternator was falling off and several bolts had broken off in the engine block leaving our exhaust manifolds hanging and very noisy. $845 later we're on the road again. We rented a car and drove down to Shirley's Dad's and visited while the work was done so we didn't loose much time.

Florida's new capitol building was very modern and unimpressive, but just behind it was the old building that had much charm and character to it. We noticed that the Masons had their cornerstones on each of the state buildings here. Monuments to war and law enforcement were here as well maintaining our observations about the setting up of the other gods that we have mentioned before. It seems that all the state capitols have succomed to this mode and it reveals much about the people of our land and their choices.

Florida is Shirley's home state and she did some remaniscing as we drove along. The northern part of the state is experiencing a drought although we received a drenching downpour as we drove into Shirley's Dad's place. They were glad they were getting some rain. We will try to make Montgomery, Alabama by tonight.
