I had the pleasure of joining the Resource Management team as they searched the plant life in the Delaware River at the Callicoon access in PA just across from the village of Callicoon in NY.
They were wading in the water when I got there, but I decided just to watch and take pictures instead of donning waders and joining them. I don't want to fall and hurt my leg any more than it already hurts. Soon, they got out to process the "bugs" they caught. They bag them, measure them, and ID them. After 15, they were done! 2 of 4 volunteers were there so they helped with that stage also. I became the "official" photographer! I couldn't tell the difference between one bug and another.
