This morning an RV mobile tech came to check my inverter. He was able to reset it. That was good news! He analyzed my surge guard to see whether it could be repaired. It was possible but the guard would hang so low that it would lie on the ground at most RV parks. I decided to just buy a new one.
He then checked the feasibility of installing an additional electrical outlet below my closet. This will be an easy job, which he can do in about a week. With the new outlet, I won’t have to have an electrical cord strung across the floor when I need to use a space heater or electric blanket. I consider that a safety measure because, even with a protective cover on the cord, I have occasionally tripped.
