The rest of our week in Darwin was spent very pleasantly. We spent the days doing necessary stuff like getting haircuts and servicing the car, or just chilling out. Each day was punctuated with a trip upstairs to share dinner or a cuppa and a chat with Kerri and Richard while the kids watched tv and mucked around together. We all loved this time.

A quick summary of the rest of the week:

Tuesday - tv, book reading & Palmerston water park

Wednesday - car service, hair cuts, library and visit to Jenners' place :)

Thursday - Fannie Bay Gaol, Museum & Art Gallery of Northern Territory, Leanyer Water Park, kids dinner with Jacob and Mitch, Ben & I to Mindil

Friday - kids and I had lunch at shops then went to the library while Ben visited Tony Jenner at his workplace - Charles Darwin Uni - and Keith Birchley, who was giving talks there for the week; catch-up visit with the Marsh family, who I used to clean for

Saturday - Parliament House tour, WWII Oil Tunnels, Waterfront Wave Pool, kids watched Willy Wonka

Sunday - getting-ready day: washing, sorting, shopping; then swim and play at Howard Springs followed by farewell Chinese feast upstairs (including some rather hot pieces of chilli in the crispy beef!)
