Barb and I were on the road around 10:30 this morning. There was no great hurry because it is not such a long drive from Colorado Springs to Estes Park. We arrived at the RV park about 4:30. After dinner we walked around the campground and took some photos, even though the lighting wasn’t ideal.
Estes Park is a very pretty city. It is the eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and is surrounded by peaks ranging from 8,500 to more than 14,000 feet, some of which have snow on their summits year round. (www.estesparkcvb.com)
