We were the only ones here the second night.

We’ve not been to Colorado yet so today that’s exactly where we’re headed. They’ve had a LOT of flooding in the northeast section of the state but I was able to find a Passport America campground that wasn’t affected. So off we go, under sunny skies, on our 156-mile journey to Seibert Colorado.

Pulled into the Shady Grove Campground around 2:00 p.m. This campground appears to be in the owner’s back yard in a sleepy, not very alive town but it has what we need for very reasonable rates so we’ll be happy for the 2 nights we’ll be here. The lots are long and at this time of year, there are few other campers here.


Drove out and about to check out the town and gather a few geocaches. Not too much to say about here; the pictures sort of tell it all.
