We are currently in a place called Redang Island in the South China Sea, off the east coast of Malaysia. This is not far from where the first season of "Survivor" was filmed, and it certainly lives up to the image of a tropical paradise.
We are staying at a resort with white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, monkeys and tropical fish everywhere. Everyday as part of the package we are on we get to take two trips out to various Marine parks for what has to be some of the best snorkelling in the world.
So far we have seen Moray eels, Christmas tree coral worms, table top coral, brain coral, clown fish, parrot fish, angel fish, and pretty much every type of tropical marine animal you could imagine. It's like swimming in an Aquarium (or in Daryl Fridhandler's fish tank...). Tommorow we are off to a bay that is known for sea turtles and can't wait. The weather here is also amazing, constantly warm and sunny, and you wake up in the morning to the sound of monkeys outside your balcony.
Kuala Lumpur was also an amazing city to begin our time here in Malaysia, and was a great base to begin the planning of our trip around the country.
The only bad part has been our laptop has died on us, and looks like it will take a while to fixed, so no new pictures on the site for a few days anyway...
We will be here on Redang until the 19th, then back to Kuala Lumpur for a few days, and then back off exploring Malaysia! Be sure to post us messages, we love to read them from around the world!
