We arrived in Gibraltar today around noon. We took the "Gibraltar and the Rock" tour that left around 12:45. The tour took us to the southernmost point of Gibraltar first, with a stop at Europa Point. We took pictures of the Trinity Lighthouse. Next, we visited the Upper Rock area and the Upper Galleries also called the Great Siege Tunnels. We were very pleased to see a lot of monkeys on the tour, they were all over the place. Our bus driver even fed one and let him climb in on the steering wheel. :-) They seem very tame, we were not afraid of them at all.
We also passed the Moorish Castle built in 1933. The best part of the tour was the cable car right to the top of the rock. We could see awesome views of the city of Gibraltar to the west and the coastline of Africa to the south. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from our awesome cruise.
