We took Betty to Stafford, Missouri today to the Wild Animal Safari. Jerry and I visited this awesome park a couple of years ago and loved it. You can drive through the Wild Animal Safari from the comfort of your own vehicle, or go along with their complimentary bus tour lead by an Animal Safari tour guide. We chose to drive our own car so we could stop and take more pictures etc. The drive is 5 miles long and takes you through over 250 acres. We were face to face with camels, buffalo, elk, water buffalo, wildebeest running free, zebras, pot-bellied pigs and much more. They also have a caged area with rare white tigers, giraffes, monkeys, peacocks and more.

The last time we visited you were able to feed the animals. They made some changes since our last visit, you are only allowed to feed certain animals where the tour bus stops. We still had a lot of animals coming up to the car to be fed, we just enjoyed watching them up close and personal. :-) It was a fun day, Betty enjoyed it much too. You can drive through the park as many times as you wish. It was awesome and we highly recommend it to everyone, don’t miss this one. Check back later for more from Missouri.
