We got up early this morning and met Joy at 7:00 at her condo. We went to a park near her house and shared a couple of muffins before driving Joy to work in downtown Minneapolis.
After dropping Joy off at her office, we headed north and then west, along US 8, again staying as far as possible from the Interstates. We made good time on the straight-as-an-arrow roads, and pulled into our last campsite of the trip around 8 P.M., in the town of Sault St. Marie, Michigan.
The campsite was on a little canal, just off the Soo Locks, the busiest locks in the world (connecting Lake Superior with the lower Great Lakes). We walked a bit down by the water before turning in.
This marks the 65th consecutive night we've spent in Rosie! (And they said it couldn't be done!)
